Take advantage of your summer fitness and join us for a late season getaway to ride on the roads where “il Campionissimo” Fausto Coppi used to train: Explore Piemonte and Liguria while enjoying authentic cuisine and wine.

Let our local guide Luca show you his region! Head into the beautiful hills of the “Langhe e Roero” - one of the most famous wine areas of Italy. Stop by his good friend Alfredo's vineyards and taste the local wine.

Luca will then take you up to a legendary climb of the Giro d'Italia before riding all the way down to the sea in the close region of Liguria.

Our hotel is located in the Bra area, the birthplace of the "Slow Food" movement. If you like to discover new regions on your bike and love good cuisine, this trip is for you!

Read here Luca's story on how he designed this tour on his home roads.

  • Day 2

    Langhe e Roero

    100km and 1,500m of climbing

Probably you’ve got a bit carried away with the food last night enjoying the Italian atmosphere, so it’s time to ride! Today we’ll do 100km amongst the stunning hills of Langhe e Roero. We will cycle through beautiful colourful little villages and you’ll definitely understand why this area is a UNESCO World Heritage site! We will visit the Cantina Malabaila di Canalewhere the wine production goes back to 1270. Here Luca’s friend Alfredo will give us a nice tour and… wine to taste of course. Dinner will be in a restaurant in the hills.

  • Day 3

    Liguria

90 km and 1'000m of climbing

Shall we go to the sea? The Mediterranean Sea is closer than you realise, just on the other side of the Alps... So why not ride from the mountains to the sea? Today is all about that, we'll climb over the “end” of the Alps (where they meet the Apennines) before enjoying the breathtaking view of the Liguria coast line. That means also one thing: it's time for seafood and a nice, refreshing glass of Liguria’s Vermentino.

  • Day 4

    La Cima Coppi

80 km and 1,900m of climbing

It’s our last day of riding and it’s time to see the big mountains! Today we will climb the colle Fauniera (2,511m) a regular feature of the Giro d’Italia and the Cima Coppi (the highest point of the edition) on many occasions. It is so important to Italian cyclists that there is a memorial to Marco Pantani. After that it’s time to relax, enjoy an amazing meal with your new friends and of course do not forget the wine. It’s Piemonte after all!

  • Day 5

All good things have an end.. One last cappuccino and we're off to Milano airport, our head full of nice memories from the rides, the food... and the wine.
