Uri and his crew made for a bucket list experience at the final stage of the 2023 Giro d’Italia. Originally was just looking for a finish line VIP experience, but ended up riding the day’s stage with their group before the pros raced. The finish line VIP experience exceeded all my expectations. Being right there to see the legendary Mark Cavendish take the win in Rome was amazing! The only regret I have is that I didn’t do the full week. Next time for sure and I will definitely be booking another trip again.

Everything about the Giro, Italy and the Italians was amazing, but it was the meticulous attention to detail, hard work, passion and dedication of Uri leading the cyclists, with a superb crew of Joel and Fabio in the support vehicles that really brought this experience to the next level. “Cycling in Israel for the start of the 2018 Giro d’Italia was an amazing experience! GTP did a fantastic job arranging rental bikes, planning rides, and getting access to the race. It was a truly incredible to ride the TT course on closed roads in Jerusalem! The guides were wonderful and I would love the opportunity to ride with Grand Tours Project in the future. “The team looked after all of us SO WELL. They really were great and very reassuring to a relatively new rider like me. I’d never done anything like the Maratona before and on the Wednesday evening, I reconnected with that childhood fear many of us experienced in advance of any big exam or any big challenge on the sporting field. It was actually a great feeling, like rediscovering a long lost friend and I really enjoyed that sense of being truly alive again. Getting out on the bike on the Thursday morning with the GTP riders just got me calm and focused and that helped so much.
