Based in Gstaad Switzerland, a workshop on blockchain in business designed for corporate senior leadership with cycling in the Alps.
This is an event to provide insights on blockchain technology and its potential for businesses. This is designed for business leaders with a desire to understand how blockchain technology will disrupt their businesses by offering a 3-day workshop in Gstaad, Switzerland. Although optional, the cycling component is encouraged and caters to all levels from those with no experience to an expert cyclist. Bianchi bikes will be provided for the workshop participants.
It is perfect for business leaders at the executive level who are:
* Looking to understand why blockchain technology is forecast to be more disruptive to business models than the impact of the internet.
* Keen to hear real-world use cases of how blockchain technology offers an enormous commercial opportunity.
* Interested in connecting with subject matter experts and fellow executive leaders.
We have partnered with the 5-star Park Gstaad Hotel to provide the perfect atmosphere for a workshop. Savour the personal attention where your comfort is paramount and attention to your needs is their passion. This serves as not only a stage for some of the most beautiful cycling and hiking in the world, but also well-positioned in Gstaad, located in the Bernese Oberland region of the Swiss Alps. Gstaad is easily accessible from Switzerland's major airports (1h 30m from Bern airport and 2h 30m from Geneva airport).
The workshop is hosted by Grand Tours Projects, and its founder Keith Tuffley. His roles have included: former Managing Director of Goldman Sachs, Governor of WWF-Australia, Managing Partner & CEO of The B Team, and Founder of NEUW Ventures SA, an entrepreneurial impact investment company based in Switzerland. He is currently the Vice Chairman and Senior International Adviser with Citigroup.
This workshop brings together thought leaders in the blockchain space, Nick Gatland and Mike Simpson. Nick has a background leading a range of technology companies including previous CIO/COO/CEO roles at Virgin Mobile (Australia/South Africa). Mike, a former Partner with McKinsey and a Ph.D. in Economics, has previously been Head of Products and Executive Director of Mobiles at Telstra. Nick and Mike have now co-founded Locii, helping businesses transform through the use of blockchain in four areas: Proof of Identity, Proof of Provenance, Proof of Reputation and Proof of Engagement.
