Short on time but need an exhilarating short break? As a Giro d’Italia Official Tour Operator we have designed the ideal long weekend tour - a little glamorous Cote d’Azur, Piemonte ranges riding, a challenging Torino loop with VIP access and of course a mountain day to finish it off.
We have condensed the Giro d’Italia into three full days of riding with Day 2 offering 2 options. You will be riding various routes that will provide the beautiful settings such as beside the Ligurian Sea from Nice to the start of Stage 13 in San Remo; the national park loop near Torino; and the dramatic and awe inspiring mountains towering over the Aosta Valley up to Gran Paradiso.
And there are options so the road warriors can be thoroughly challenged and those not seeking such effort can also attain their goals - in all cases, the GTP support van is nearby to help. As a Giro d’Italia Official Tour Operator, we can guarantee crossing the finish line, mounting the podium and VIP access to the Giro d’Italia VIP hospitality zone.
All this in one long weekend.

We are also offering a more challenging option for week 2 of riding every kilometre of each day - our Giro 'Ride Every Kilometre' tours
Total price: From €2,750
Benvenuto
30km
Ok so not yet in Italy, but Benuvento to the Long Weekend Experience of the Giro d'Italia 2022!
We will meet you at Nice Airport and take you to our hotel in Nice. Once checked in, we’ll help reassemble and fit the bikes and then venture out for a 30 kilometre ride.
Back at the hotel we will tweak the bikes and then meet for pre-dinner drinks to discuss the plan and answer your queries for the next few days.
Dinner in Nice old town.
Nice - Sanremo
60km | 750m
After breakfast we’ll head off along the beautiful Cote d’Azur coastal road and then take the Corniche from Villefranche-sur-Mer to Eze. Definitely worth stopping here for a short exploration and coffee! Then the winding roads down to and past Monaco. We will cross into Italy at San Ludovico and then follow a mainly flattish route along the coast to Sanremo. Here we can observe the teams getting ready and then find our prime position to watch the race start just outside of Sanremo.
We will then transfer to our hotel in Torino.
SAVONA -CUNEO
100km | 1,365m
After an early breakfast we’ll transfer you to our start in Savona. It's a good and consistent climb to Riserva Naturale delle Sorgenti del Belbo and where we will cross over into Piemonte and join the race route at Ceva. Provided we have made good time we will ride another 57 kilometres to Cuneo before the route is closed for the race.
We will then transfer to our hotel in Torino.
Torino Loop
55km | 1,285m
Today we’ll start early to ride the loop around and through the Parco della Rimembranza, on the other side of the River Po and Torino. A few sharp climbs and nearly the same amount of descent - it should be fun as we race before the route is closed.
We’ll cross the official Giro d’Italia Arrivo, mount the winners podium, change and then watch an expected exciting finish into Torino from the VIP Zone.
After all the excitement, we’ll transfer you to our lovely hotel in the Canavase area.
Aosta Pollein - Saint Maurice - Cogne
50km | 1,925m or 75km | 2,800km
The pros are riding over 4,000 metres on this epic mountain stage today! But no worries, we are providing two options - both still challenging but significantly more manageable! There will be relentless ascents and thrilling descents. If 75 kilometres in the mountains is too daunting, we can also start in Saint Maurice to complete the last 50 kilometres of the race route.
The Aosta Valley and Gran Paradiso are stunningly beautiful, so although there is some pressure to race the carabinieri, make sure to enjoy the magnificent scenery too. The GTP van will remain in the Aosta Valley so you can enjoy a long rewarding descent after arrivo.
We will transfer to our hotel in Milan.
Arrivederci
Long weekends always end so quickly! We hope that you have been challenged but also enjoyed the thrill of racing along the Giro d’Italia routes and joined in the festive nature of this ‘greatest race in the most beautiful country’ for the last 3 days.
We’ll help you pack up and transfer you to the Milano airport for your onward journey.
Hopefully we’ll see you on another grand tour - a long weekend or a full week experience.
Safe journey and until next time.
