This afternoon is dedicated to checking in and preparing your bike for the high mountains. You will enjoy a relaxing Welcome Ride on the local valley roads, followed by the tour briefing and a hearty, alpine-style welcome dinner.

48 - 65 km | up to 1,540 m

After breakfast, we set off by bike directly from the hotel, heading toward the heart of the race route and the ascent to Pila. At the foot of the climb, you can choose your challenge: a shorter route or a longer route that includes riding the penultimate climb of the day. The ride culminates near the top of Pila, where we will watch the professional peloton race by charging for the Stage 14 finish. Afterwards, we take a transfer back to the hotel.

DAY 3: SUNDAY 24 MAY

Como & Muro di Sormano

70 km | 1,400 m

Following check-out and breakfast, we transfer south, departing early for a two-hour drive to our new hotel base in Como. After a light snack, we leave the hotel on our bikes and head directly to the famous climbing territory above Lake Como. Today’s focus is conquering the legendary and fantastically steep Muro di Sormano. You will experience the steep, narrow grades of this iconic climb before descending back to Como for a well-deserved dinner.

DAY 4: MONDAY 25 MAY

Bellagio to Lugano, Switzerland

35 km | 370 m or 65 km | 825 m

Today is an iconic transition day with two riding distances. We depart the hotel on our bikes and cycle to the Sanctuary of Our Lady Ghisallo, patroness of cyclists. The views are amazing and the cycling museum is worth a visit. Then head down toward the stunning and glamorous village of Bellagio, where we will enjoy a coffee stop. We then board a ferry to Maneggio on the western shore. The ride continues from there, taking us across the border into Switzerland and concluding at our hotel above Lugano, where we will stay for two nights.

DAY 5: TUESDAY 26 MAY

Swiss Stage 16 Finish & VIP Hospitality

58 km | 1,600 m

Today is the ultimate Giro Experience and the spectacular climax of your mountain adventure! After breakfast, we transfer to the Bellinzona area, positioning ourselves for a finish in Carì. You will ride the official race route, tackling the challenging final kilometres of the ascent, feeling the pure mountain intensity. The reward is immense: crossing the official Stage 16 finish line, enjoying an exclusive moment mounting the Giro Winners’ Podium, and then transitioning directly to the Giro VIP Hospitality area. From this prime, high-altitude vantage point, you will be able to watch the professional race conclude. We return to the hotel in Lugano for a final, celebratory dinner, toasting the success of your alpine adventure.

The guides and support staff were great. Very capable, friendly and never showed frustration when things go wrong as they will when following a Pro race.

Giro D’Italia Grande Partenza "Experience" - Albania, 2025

It was the best trip I have taken in a long time. I enjoyed every bit of it. The leadership, communication, and support were outstanding. I was the slowest rider in the group and I never felt scared or lost confidence in riding every day and doing at my own pace and staying within my comfort level. Will certainly do another ride with this company soon!! Thank you very much to the team and Uri& Fatjon in particular for their support and encouragement!!
