UCI Road World Championships. Each year, elite cyclists from around the world, representing their nations, compete in a series of road races. A festival of everything road race cycling: Juniors, U23s, and Elite Men’s and Women’s competing in individual time trials, team time trials and team relays– all happening in the one place.

And in 2020, the event will be taking place in Aigle and Martigny, Switzerland – Grand Tours Project’s home!

We have designed a fantastic 10 day trip that will give you access to the UCI Martigny World Championship races and to UCI Aigle headquarters and the opportunity to ride in the UCI Velodrome. We have also selected the best day rides in the area – this was tough, and a great deal of debating took place in the Grand Tours Project office! Hopefully, by the end we will have convinced you how awesome riding is in Switzerland and you’ll return for more.

This is a trip that offers something for all level of riding skills. We have designed it so a newcomer to cycling can be challenged, but achieve their goals; to the other extreme, where the experienced Strava cyclist will have optional extensions to push their limits.

You will have the opportunity to observe professional cyclists representing their countries getting ready and winding down during some activities. Every rider will receive a Santini Grand Tours Project cycle kit and goodie bag and ride track bikes in the velodrome. And of course, we have booked the most interesting and comfortable hotels and restaurants.

The 10-day package offers 6 days of riding along the Rhone River Valley and in the Swiss mountains. We have also designed a 7-day package with 5 days of riding as well as a 3-day package on the final weekend for those who cannot escape other commitments.
