Welcome to the Villars Palace Women’s Training Camp, set against the spectacular backdrop of Villars-sur-Ollon in the heart of the Swiss Alps. We believe true cycling mastery is about far more than just fitness; it’s about confidence, self-sufficiency, and breaking down barriers.
This immersive, four-day experience is meticulously designed to support the whole female athlete. You will practise high-level road cycling technique, tackle challenging alpine climbs, and receive truly personalised coaching. Crucially, you will gain the knowledge often missing from other camps: through our unique workshops on Sensitive Health & Comfort, cycling literacy, and roadside & home maintenance, you will be empowered to ride with absolute assurance. Culminating in exclusive access to the UCI World Cycling Centre, you will leave not just fitter, but as a fully knowledgeable, technically proficient, and confident cyclist ready to take on any challenge.

Your high-performance Alpine cycling journey begins with a transfer from Aigle station to Villars-sur-Ollon and the stunning Villars Palace. Upon settling into your chosen accommodation (available across three price tiers to suit various budgets), the focus shifts immediately to personalisation: you will receive a professional bike fitting and safety check to optimise your comfort and power, followed by an individual 20-minute consultation with our expert staff and ex-pro rider to tailor the coaching to your specific goals and data. The day culminates with a Welcome Dinner at a select resort venue, followed by an inspiring motivational talk from an invited guest speaker, setting an empowering and inclusive tone for the high-performance weekend ahead.
This day is dedicated to building a solid cycling foundation and empowering you with essential knowledge. The morning begins with an early 30-minute Muscle Awakening and Stretching session in the Villars Palace Wellness Centre, followed by an energising breakfast. After a pre-ride safety briefing, we transfer to Bex for a three-hour Foundational Skills Ride, focusing on on-bike strength training, mastering pace variation, and vital breathing techniques for cycling. The afternoon is reserved for our unique competitive advantage: a focused Performance, Health & Comfort Workshop with our doctor and ex-pro, providing crucial, confidential advice on saddle comfort and physiological training factors. This high-value session is followed by a relaxed Demystifying Jargon Workshop, ensuring you are fluent in cycling culture before enjoying dinner and a conversational and fun presentation on professional race tactics.
An optional yoga & recovery session will be held in the afternoon.
Today is the ultimate test and reward, focused on the true alpine experience. Following a detailed briefing, the morning culminates in the alpine ride, where you ascend the Col de la Croix and Col du Pillon. Our guides will coach you on uphill technique (pacing and power application) and critical downhill technique (braking and cornering lines). After a recovery lunch, we tackle the final competitive element: a comprehensive, hands-on roadside and home maintenance workshop.
This practical session ensures your true self-sufficiency, teaching you how to fix flats and manage emergency repairs as well as look after your precious machine. The afternoon is dedicated to luxury and performance with a personalised massage and wellness session, followed by an Aperitivo and Data & Tech Coaching hour. Here, the ex-pro shares insights before helping you set up your devices and define your personalised training zones, culminating in a final Michelin dinner at the Villars Palace.
The camp culminates in a spectacular and exclusive finale designed to embed a professional mindset. After a final breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred to the UCI World Cycling Centre in Aigle – the training hub for elite athletes worldwide. The morning features two high-value, specialised sessions: a UCI Gym Session focused on cycling-specific strength and conditioning, followed by an unforgettable experience riding the indoor velodrome track under the guidance of a top UCI specialist. This unique access solidifies your technical skills and speed in a controlled environment.
Following a quick change and final group lunch, departure transfers are arranged back to Aigle Station or Geneva (GVA) Airport (for an extra fee). You leave with high-level physical conditioning, specialised coaching knowledge, and the confident, self-sufficient mindset of an athlete.
