Girona, a cyclist mecca, is nearby and a wealth of riding terrain into and over mountains, along rolling open farm land and of course the stunning coastal routes of Costa Brava.

Our Costa Brava Training Camp will be led by a former professional cyclist and will encompass energy nutrition, the importance of pre warm ups, appropriate cycle kit for cool weather riding, climbing and descending techniques, flat terrain training, and the etiquette and skills required for peloton and echelon riding, and more.

We can't promise you summer temperatures, but we can deliver invigorating and inspiring rides in all weather conditions, and modern luxury after a day of training.

    Bienvenido a la Costa Brava

    20km / 350m

We will collect you from Girona or Barcelona Airport at a predetermined time and take you to our amazing hotel. After check in, we’ll have time to reassemble and fit bikes before heading off for a ride along the coast.

Back at the hotel you can relax and enjoy the views. At drinks we will discuss the weather and plans for the next few days and then enjoy our first dinner at the hotel’s gastronomic restaurant.

  • Day 2

    Begur - Girona

    75km / 370m

Before breakfast, we will have a gym and stretching session, where you will learn the important cyclist exercises - warm up, workout, cool down, stretch and resting your body.

We will ride to Begur and onto the rolling countryside to Girona. The focus will be on specific time trial techniques, team structure, riding in flat terrain and possibly against the wind. We will take an opportunity to teach you what to do in an "emergency moment" when the echelon is in race mode.

In Girona, we’ll change into warm clothes and head off to a local restaurant haunted by cycling aficionados, followed by the requisite cycle shop visits before transferring back to our hotel. The Hotel Spa is available to you to relax and enjoy before dinner.

  • Day 3

    Via Els Angels Route

    80km / 1250m

Our day of climbing and descending today. Taking advantage of the hilly terrain, we will teach you some technical and metabolic climbing exercises and practice our descending techniques discussed the previous evening. Learning and gaining confidence on long straight down and hairpins and knowing how to take corners is safer for you...and fun!

The support van will be there to collect you on the last descent and transfer you back to the hotel. The Hotel Spa is waiting for you!

  • Day 4

    Coast and Mountains

    100km / 1400m

Today is the day to put into practice the training of the previous days. A long and beautiful coastal ride in echelon formation with some mountain climbing and descending thrown in! We’ll find a lovely lunch spot before we continue on the route back to Sant Feliu de Guixols and our transfer to the hotel.

On returning to the hotel, you deserve a good soak in the spa and today may be an opportune time to book a massage!

Our final dinner tonight. Should be a time to enjoy yourself.
