The “Giro d’Italia Spectator Prosecco Hills & Italian Alps Escape 2026” tour gave us four unforgettable days among the Prosecco Hills, the legendary climbs of the Dolomites, and the unique atmosphere of the Giro d’Italia.
From our arrival in Venice to the peaceful hills between Veneto and Friuli, every moment captured the authentic spirit of Italy at its finest: vineyards, charming villages, warm hospitality, and an incredible passion for cycling.
During the tour, we also visited beautiful Vittorio Veneto, strolling through its historic squares and breathing in the elegant atmosphere of one of the most fascinating towns in the Veneto region.
Among the most thrilling moments was watching the riders tackle the famous Muro di Ca’ del Poggio, where cheering fans, steep gradients, and the adrenaline of the peloton created an unforgettable spectacle. Before the race, Prosecco tastings and local delicacies made the experience even more special.
Equally unforgettable was the day in Alleghe, in the heart of the Dolomites. To reach it, we drove along the spectacular Passo Duran, one of the iconic roads crossed by the Corsa Rosa, experiencing firsthand the magic of the mountains that have shaped the history of the Giro d’Italia.
The highlight was the unique thrill of crossing the official Giro finish line and stepping onto the Maglia Rosa podium to take a few memorable photos. Afterwards, we watched the riders from the exclusive “Leonardo” VIP hospitality area as they battled through one of the most decisive stages of the race.
The final stage we experienced in Aviano allowed us to truly feel the tension of the last battle for the general classification, with the peloton racing toward the final decisive climbs.
This tour was much more than a sporting event: a perfect mix of cycling, territory, gastronomy, and authentic emotions.
