Our Partnership with Bianchi

It’s not often one gets to partner with the world’s oldest bicycle company, and still one of the leading, most innovative and most prestigious bike brands in the world - BIANCHI. We are delighted to partner with Bianchi across a range of activities, including the opportunity to offer the Infinito CV Disc bike to our guests, and a new series of "Powered by Bianchi" tours.

Our fleet of Bianchi Infinito CV Disc bikes

Our specially selected "Official Bike" of Grand Tours Project – the Bianchi Infinito CV Disc – is precisely the bike we were searching for, with all the features we wish to have in our fleet: a pro-level and award-winning endurance bike that offers less fatigue and more control to our guests on every Grand Tours Project trip.

The underlying patented carbon material used in the Infinito CV – Countervail®, exclusive to Bianchi CV models – cancels 80% of the road vibration, resulting in increased control and reduced muscle fatigue. Countervail® is a carbon composite-material system that combines patented structural carbon with viscoelastic resin.

The benefits of riding on Bianchi's Infinito CV include:

  • Maximized ride control and handling under normal to extreme vibration loads
  • Reduced muscle fatigue and increased energy savings in distance rides
  • Increased rigidity and peak power output over long distances

Bianchi bicycles are famous not just for their innovative engineering and beautiful Italian design - they are also recognised on roads everywhere by the traditional Celeste turquoise colour that typically adorns the bike.

But it’s not just about the bike. We also wanted to partner with a bike brand that offers much more.

The history and heritage of Bianchi

The history of cycling - as far back as 1885 when Bianchi started operations in Milan - is both fascinating and exciting, and there is no better brand than Bianchi that is linked to the great stories, races and rivalries in cycling history. Fausto Coppi, Marco Pantani and Felice Gimondi - all double winners of the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia - are three legends of cycling who are indelibly associated with Bianchi.

There is also the Italian heritage of Bianchi. The home of cycling is the home of Bianchi. And there are so many things about Italy that we love – its stunning beauty, the food, coffee and wine, the friendly and passionate people, the fashion style, the amazing cycling roads, and so much more.

Unique Bianchi experiences

Our partnership will also allow our guests to enjoy special experiences that are unique to Bianchi. There’s the Bianchi Café & Cycles in Milan … the factory visit near Bergamo … the access to the Bianchi-sponsored LottoNL-Jumbo pro team at the Grand Tours and other races … and special events that we will be hosting with Bianchi.

"Powered by Bianchi" bike tours

And finally, each year we will be running our “Powered by Bianchi" tours - bike trips specially designed for our guests who wish to immerse themselves in the full Bianchi experience. And to celebrate our partnership and the 103rd birthday of the legendary Fausto Coppi, our first Powered by Bianchi tour ("Roads of Legends - Alpe d'Huez to Stelvio") will be held in September 2023, with a fantastic route in the Alps, Piemonte, Lombardia and the Stelvio. We’ll be riding on Coppi’s favourite and most famous routes as he cycled to victory in the Tour de France (twice) and Giro d’Italia (5 times).

Join us as we deepen and enrich our guest experiences in the wonderful world of cycling … and with our wonderful new partner - Bianchi.
