Our Bianchi Bike Fleet

Grand Tours Project is proud to present our 2023 rental bike fleet in partnership with the world's oldest and most prestigious bike brand - Bianchi. Our official bike: the Bianchi Infinito CV Disc, with Ultegra Di2 12SP electronic components, disc brakes, and Countervail® vibration-cancellation technology.

Whether you're riding every kilometre of a Grand Tour, ascending Switzerland's epic mountain passes, or enjoying a relaxing time in Sicily and Sardegna for an end-of-season Getaway, the Bianchi Infinito CV Disc will make your trip unforgettable. Save yourself the hassle and costs of packing, transporting and unpacking your bike and take this opportunity to try out a high-end carbon bike with electronic shifting, disc brakes, and proprietary Countervail® vibration-cancellation technology that will make your ride the most comfortable you have ever had.

We have worked closely with the experts at Bianchi to select the best possible bike for our guests. And there is simply no better bike for the type of rides we do than the Bianchi Infinito CV Disc ... the "Official Bike" of Grand Tours Project.

This is a pro-level bike ... Bianchi supplies this Infinito CV bike to some professional teams, used especially for the Classics where the roads are often uneven.

The safety of our guests is our first priority, and this is why we've decided to have disc brakes on all our bikes. If you're not quite ready to invest in a new bike with disc brakes, this is your opportunity to test the difference they make as you descend the big mountain passes in the Alps, Dolomites, Pyrenees or our other favourite tour destinations. And when it's wet, you will find that the fear of riding on slippery roads becomes a thing of the pastThe Ultegra Di2 electronic shifters allow for a smooth, reliable and fast gear change as you commence the ascent of Zoncolan or Alpe d'Huez ... or as you start the final sprint to the finish line in Rome, Paris or Madrid, with your friends in tow.

The compact gearing (34x32T) that we have on all our bikes will allow you to ascend the great mountain passes as easily as possible.

And then there's the Bianchi Infinito CV carbon frame! This bike has been designed to create the most comfortable riding experience possible, and for us at Grand Tours Project the comfort of our guests is nearly as important as their safety. The Infinito CV has been engineered to provide maximum comfort, and this is achieved using Bianchi's proprietary vibration-cancellation Countervail® (CV) technology. The CV technology is a viscoelastic material that is embedded within the layers of carbon fibre, significantly reducing high frequency road vibrations. Long distances and rough roads (maybe a few cobbles!) can be covered in relative comfort with this new technology.

And on top of these functional advantages of the Bianchi Infinito CV disc, the bike is eye-catching and appealing ... consistent with the heritage, innovation and Italian design flair of Bianchi. And then there is the beautiful and famous Bianchi celeste colour, unmistakable to all cyclists.

Take this opportunity to try out the legendary Bianchi Infinito CV Disc on one of our trips and we promise you will not miss your bike at home!
