You will be based in Lausanne, on the shores of the Lake of Geneva. Lausanne is a beautiful city which hosts the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee and its Olympic Museum, so you would also enjoy your time off the bike.
Train is a very convenient way of traveling in Switzerland, even with a bike. Your guide will greet you in the morning at Lausanne station before driving you to your 4* hotel in town. If you choose to rent a car, we will meet you at your hotel.
In the afternoon, we’ll go for our first ride through the UNESCO World Heritage List site of the Lavaux vineyards, which offer a fabulous view on the lake and the Alps. After a well deserved break in Chexbres, we’ll ride back to Lausanne. Different options are possible depending on how much you want to ride.
