The Final week of France's Grand Cycle Tour. And we suspect this week will create some real competition for the yellow jersey and the teams. The six stages start from the beautiful Occitanie region on the Mediterranean coast, head up into the Alps again and then return to the Mediterranean finishing in Nice - the first time outside of Paris since 1905!

The 111th edition of the Grand Boucle will be one to remember. Starting in Italy and on the French Riviera, visiting 4 countries and a final ITT stage that may cause upsets and decide the winner of the yellow jersey. The final week skims the Mediterranean landscapes and coasts, provides opportunities to visit parts of Occitanie and the Alpes Maritime not normally on the tourist route but also provides an epic challenge in the Alps and the coastal glamour of Monaco and Provence. Not forgetting the French cuisine and wines. This week is going to be awesome.

The Grand Tours Project Grand Depart Ride Every Kilometre (REK) provides support and guidance along the full race route the day before the race. This avoids the pre-dawn starts, the race to pass before the roads close, to avoid the crowds in the cities and ascents.

For the professional riders, the route is 856 kilometres long, and several thousands of metres vertical - for you it's the same and possibly more. Are you ready to join us and Ride Every Kilometre of the final week of France’s Grand Boucle?

  • DAY 8 - SUNDAY 21 JULY

    SPECTATOR DAY

You completed the last 6 stages of the Grand Tour of France the day before. Today you can chill before the team takes you to the Nice VIP Finish zone to enjoy the spectacle of this classic race. Unusually, the race may well be decided on this final stage, the ITT! The last time an ITT was the final stage was in 1989 and caused a major upset with Greg Le monde taking the yellow jersey from Laurent Fignon. No matter who the winners are, the atmosphere will be intense and exciting and especially so as the last 10 riders start their ride of the season.
