Join us for the ride of a lifetime: ride on the course of the Giro d’Italia for the final week in the mountains – just hours before the pros. Ride every kilometer: that’s the ultimate Grand Tour Project. Or ride just the best part of the stage. Either way you get the full Giro experience.

"Imagine that: you get on your bike at sunrise and ride by the Giro start podium. You leave town, following the distinctive pink signboards. The group is riding at a nice pace and you stop from time to time for coffee in a tiny bar on the roadside. As you cross villages, you start to notice more people on the streets. Soon the colourful and loud publicity caravan overtakes you.
Next, team cars are positioned in the feed zone. By now traffic is blocked in towns and more and more fans are lining along the road, cheering you on.
Will you make it to the finish in time? Yes. One more climb and you have completed a full Giro stage. Stop by our team van, enjoy a healthy buffet prepared by our staff and watch the pros fight for the pink jersey on the same road you’ve just ridden.
That’s what I did in 2013 on the 21 stages of the Giro d’Italia, as shown in this video. It was a life changing experience. For the challenge. For the landscapes I discovered. For the people I met on the road.
Now you have the opportunity to experience it for the final week of the corsa rosa – the pink race. Our Grand Tours Project team of guides, mechanics and drivers will take care of all the planning and the logistics to let you focus on your personal challenge."
Keith Tuffley, Grand Tours Project Chief Purpose Officer
In 2017 we will ride on the course of the final 6 stages of the 100th edition of the Giro, which will visit many prestigious passes that made the history of the race: Stelvio, Mortirolo, Passo Tonale, Pordoi, Monte Grappa… and more.
Every day, participants will have the choice between riding every kilometer of the stage, or start their ride 80-100 km from the finish to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the race.
Completing the full distance of Giro stages is mental as much as physical. You don’t have to be an elite athlete, but you must be fit, have a positive mindset and be ready for back to back long days in the saddle. Riding on the race course just before the pros, with the support of the public and our team, makes it an unforgettable experience. Check out this story from one of our 2016 guests to be convinced!
If you don't have enough time to join us on this tour, you can still ride ride and watch the Giro with us by joining the 4 day Giro's Grand Finale.
