Women's Pro Tour: Giro Rosa

We will meet you at Milan Malpensa airport, and transport you to our hotel in the beautiful village of Ponte in Valtellina, where this great adventure will begin. We'll help you unpack and build your bike, we'll hand out the team kit, and make final preparations before tomorrow's ride. After discussing the week's program, we'll enjoy a hearty Italian dinner in our hotel.

We will start the week with an epic mountain stage... and an uphill finish to the summit of the legendary Passo Gavia! With our fresh legs playing in our favour we will depart our hotel and arrive straight into the first climb, a 2nd category climb "Vespi - Monegatti". We will continue riding along the undulating course to Bormio, where we will start the last climb of the day, the mythic Passo Gavia. It's 25.6km long with 1404mts of gain altitude and an average percentage of 5.5%. Upon arriving at the finish we will wait and cheer on the riders as they battle for the Maglia Rosa!

Get your first taste of the excitement of the Individual Time Trial. It’s a short ride 12 km in total, but with the entire course gradually climbing it's sure to be a real leg burner! We will ride the time trial in the morning ahead of the riders. Upon crossing the finish line we will return to the start line and enjoy the atmosphere, we will watch the Pro´s warming up and start the race. After an exciting day, we will transfer to our next hotel in preparation for Stage 7!

The Queen Stage of the 2019 Giro Rosa and it will be a beautiful route, one to relish and remember ... the highlight being the 4 climbs! It will be up and down all day with barely a flat section in sight. We will pass through the beautiful town of Marostica, famous for it's living chess game before arriving at the last climb an uphill finish at the top of "La Salita San Giorgio di Perlena".

The longest stage in our tour and the biggest challenge over the course will be the two categorised climbs. After yesterdays big mountain stages it will be about digging deep to finish the stage! The finish in Maniago will be special as Maniago was the host city of the 2018 Para-cycling Road World.

The penultimate stage and the first flat stage on our tour. The first 75km circuit around the Friuli region will be fast, therefore the first day of teamwork in our efficient peloton! After departing Gemona for the second time we will ride towards Chiusaforte, where we will start climbing to Malga Montasio, where we will arrive at the incredible summit finish. The climb, which averages 8.1% and maxes out at 20% was featured in the 2013 men’s Giro d’Italia. After watching the Pro´s arrive at the finish line, We will transfer to the next hotel in San Vito del Tagliamento and enjoy a delicious dinner!

The final stage and what a way to finish in the beautiful city of Udine. Departing from San Vito al Tagliamento we will enjoy the next 86km. It's a fairly forgiving stage with an undulating profile. At km 86 we will summit the "Moruzzo climb" before a quick descent to the finish line in Udine... where a small surprise awaits! A 1.4 km stretch of cobbled climb lies between you and the finish line before concluding this amazing Giro Rosa! We will watch the pros, take photos and watch the award ceremony and celebrate our incredible achievement!

Having transported you back to our hotel at Venice airport last night, and enjoyed our celebratory dinner, we can relish the well earned sleep-in. After a hearty breakfast and good Italian coffee, we'll help you with packing your bike and transport you to the airport for your trip home. You'll be taking home memories, achievements, new friendships and bragging rights that you will never forget.
